Reaction time: phone vs mouse

Your phone is taxing your score. Touchscreens add roughly 35 to 140 ms of screen and touch delay on top of the browser's own ~80 ms — the panel has to register the touch, the OS has to route it, and the display refresh quantizes when you can even see the signal.

What this means in practice

SetupExtra delay vs ideal
Desktop, 144 Hz+ monitor, gaming mouseLowest — the reference setup for serious scores
Desktop, 60 Hz monitor, office mouseModerate — refresh and 125 Hz polling add up
Phone / tablet touchscreenHighest — add about 35–140 ms of touch pipeline

How to compare fairly

Never compare a phone score against a mouse score as if they were the same measurement — they are not. Compare on the same device, or compare tiers and challenge results inside the same game, where both players face the same rules. If a friend beats you from a gaming rig while you are on a phone, demand a rematch on equal hardware before conceding anything.
